COURSE OVERVIEW

The Certificate III in Irrigation Technology AHC32419 (Trade Level) qualification reflects the skills and knowledge required to become an irrigation installer, operator, retailer or technician for residential, commercial or agriculture industries.

Our courses provide an in-depth irrigation training program which is assessed against nationally recognised Competencies towards Certificate III in Irrigation Technology AHC32419 (Trade Level). This training course will be presented by highly experienced and qualified professionals who are actively working in leading organisations of the industry. The program also engages subject matter experts for specialised topics such as hydraulics, troubleshooting and basic irrigation design, to name a few.

This course will enable participants to provide a more professional service to people relying on the irrigation industry for advice, service and products.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR

This course is designed for anyone with a minimum of three (3) months experience working in the irrigation industry who is looking at enriching their knowledge and expertise with the latest innovations and most advanced irrigation techniques.

  • AHCINF304 Install and terminate extra-low voltage wiring systems

  • AHCIRG341 Operate and maintain irrigation pumping systems

Our training covers all 22 units that make up the necessary packaging requirements from National Training Register for the nationally recognised Certificate III in Irrigation Technology AHC32419. Along with course attendance and learning, there are workplace assessments, assignments, multiple choice and short answer questions that need to be completed for each unit to show volume of learning.


ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Students must have standard Language, Literacy and numeracy skills and will be required to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment at Certificate III level.


COURSE DURATION

The full qualification can be completed within 18 - 24 months from enrolment.
